  • Review the Terms: Carefully read the resource's terms of use, license agreement, or data sharing agreement provided by the data owner.
  • Clarify Ambiguities: If any terms are unclear, seek clarification from the data provider.

2. Adhere to Usage Restrictions:

  • Purpose of Use: Use the resource only for the purposes specified (e.g., academic research, non-commercial use, etc.).
  • Redistribution: Do not share, redistribute, or sublicense the resource unless explicitly allowed.
  • Modification: Follow guidelines on modifying or creating derivative works from the resource.

3. Acknowledge the Source:

  • Citations: Properly cite the resource in any publications, presentations, or reports as specified by the data provider.
  • Acknowledgments: Include any required acknowledgments in your work.
